Practical solutions to language, employment and housing in refugee-hosting communities.
RefuAid was founded in 2015 in an effort to remove reliance on external aid and restore independence and dignity to refugees throughout Europe. We work with communities to provide long-term solutions for both refugee and host communities.
Language The RefuAid 'Language: A Gateway' project increases access to English language tuition for people who have claimed asylum in the UK and Greece and those in the process of doing so.
Employment RefuAid provide interest-free, character based loans of up to £10,000 for refugees in the UK who need to pay for UK accreditation and training to return to work. (More info at www.equalaccessloan.org)
Housing RefuAid provide access to long-term housing with language and employment support for refugees and destitute members of the host community in Greece.
